Official opening of the first cost rental homes by Minister

The launch of the first of the cost rental homes in Kilcarbery Grange with the presence of the Minister for Housing, Darragh O’Brien, South Dublin County Mayor, Emma Murphy along with Anthony Lydon and Michael Whelan from Adwood Developments.

Congratulations to Tuath housing, South County Dublin and housing for all, who are delivering muchneeded homes at an affordable rent.

Within the show house complex three show houses were on view. The Snowdrop, The Honeysuckle and The Bluebell. The release consisted of a mix of spacious 3 & 4 bedroom terrace, semi-detached and detached houses which ranged in size from 108 sq m – 156 sq m.

Minister for housing & Mayor of South Dublin County visit Kilcarbery Grange for turning of the sod.

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD joined the Mayor of South Dublin County, Cllr Ed O’Brien, and South Dublin County Council Chief Executive Daniel McLoughlin, as work ramped up on South Dublin County Council’s joint venture development of 1,034 homes at Kilcarbery in Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

Adwood Ltd, is a consortium of established Dublin builders Adroit and Maplewood who have commenced construction in Kilcarbery Grange. The development will comprise 1,034 homes is the first public private housing project of its kind.
